HOW TO BOOK YOUR GROOMING SERVICE

Step 1: Please use this link to create your new client profile: https://www.timetopet.com/portal/customcaninecompanion/create-account

Step 2: Confirm activation e-mail. Please check your spam folder if it’s not received. 

Step 3: Download our free app: Time To Pet. You will use the e-mail and password from Step 1 to login into the app.

Step 4: Log into your account portal or app.

Step 5: Find the 'scheduling' tab and select "Request New Service".

Step 6: Select 'Single Day' then you'll be prompted to select your date. You can select any day Monday-Friday (weekend requests must be made and approved in advance).

Step 7: Next, select "Same Day Service" then you'll see the grooming options populate.

Step 8: Select Your Full Groom, Mini Groom or Spa Groom according to your dogs weight (if you have multiple pets, you can make multiple selections from the menu). If you are unsure of your dogs weight just make your best guess. We will weigh them when they arrive and make adjustments to the booking on your behalf if we need to. If you want to make any add-ons, please select from the add-on menu and click "ADD TO VISIT". If you want to make multiple selections, the same step will need to be repeated each time you select a different add-on.

Step 9: Finish by submitting request. After these steps are completed, the booking will be processed and your grooming details will be sent in your chat to follow.

OUR GROOMING POLICIES


NO SHOWS and LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS:

A 48-hour notice of cancellation is REQUIRED. When a client no-shows or cancels last minute, the groomer does not have enough time to re-book the appointment slot or call a client from our waiting list. As such, any appointment cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment will be charged 20% of the grooming appointment (unless special circumstances are approved by management). We love and appreciate all our clients and we value our groomer's time and schedule as well.

Please note: ALL cancellations must be made in writing via text, e-mail or message in our portal to affirm that the appointment was actually cancelled. Cancellations may be called in verbally but you must ALSO respond in writing to cancel.

NO REFUNDS ARE OFFERED ON GROOMING:

If there is an issue please contact us and we will do what we need to make it right and make you happy with our service. The most common issue at ANY grooming facility is a matted coat and a shave-down. If a dog has to be shaved down, there is always a very good reason and it is always discussed at check-in with your groomer.

We are a non-torture facility, which means we will not snatch, pull, de-matt, and torture a dog trying to gets knots out just to keep them longer and "fluffier".  Small amounts of de-matting can sometimes be accomplished with minimal discomfort but if not, then a close TRIM DOWN is absolutely necessary. To prevent trim-downs, regular grooming scheduled at around 6 weeks are encouraged as well as regular brush-outs at home.

15 MINUTE LATE POLICY:

We politely ask that you arrive on time for your grooming appointment. We apologize for any inconvenience it may cause, but if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we MAY have to reschedule your pooch for another day.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS:

You can bring in your hard-copy vet records, send a picture in the Time To Pet chat or you can email us at customcaninecompanion@gmail.com to submit vaccination records. If your vaccination records are not current or your dog is unvaccinated for health reasons, a waiver will need to be signed. Also, an effective form of flea control is recommended for all dogs prior to booking an appointment. Natural remedies are ok with us!
